Biography
Dr. Linsey Pang joined the faculty of Northeastern University in Silicon Valley in 2023. Through interactive teaching and hands-on mentoring, Dr. Pang is passionate about connecting her extensive industrial R&D experience with future AI practitioners in AI and data science.
Dr. Pang currently serves as a Distinguished AI Research Scientist at PayPal. Prior to this role, she served as a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at Salesforce, a Principal Data Scientist at Walmart Labs, and held an Applied Scientist position at eBay Inc.
She earned her PhD in machine learning research from the University of Sydney. Dr. Pang co-organizes multiple workshops and tutorials at premier data mining conferences including CIKM, KDD, and WSDM. Beyond her professional achievements, she is passionate about traveling and exploring nature.
