Biography
Katina Gholson joined the faculty of Northeastern University in Silicon Valley in 2024. In this role, she instructs graduate students within the Project Management curriculum on the practical and industry standard skills necessary to succeed and thrive in the Project Management field. Katina is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience in an educational environment and enthusiastically looks forward to engaging with students from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds to bring about the most well-rounded and inclusive learning opportunity. She currently holds a PMP and a full-time position in the Information Technology field as a Business Relationship Manager. Prior to this role, she worked as a Director of Project Management and Continuous Improvement in the IT Department for an International Insurance Company.
Ms. Gholson has over twenty years of experience in Project Management. In her spare time, Katina enjoys traveling to culturally diverse and enriching locales and in participating in local activities with friends and family within the California Bay Area, where she resides. She is originally from Memphis, TN but has called several other cities home, such as Raleigh-Durham, NC and Austin, TX. As a result, her lifelong friends refer to her as the Happy Nomad.
