Volunteer Day at Sacred Heart

For Northeastern Global Service Week, we are returning to our partners Sacred Heart Community Service for a day of volunteering. We will be on-site in San Jose sorting through donations and groceries so they can be distributed to people who need them most.

About Sacred Heart

Founded in 1964, Sacred Heart is a regional leader in developing and executing solutions to poverty. One pillar of their work is essential stabilization services for people living in poverty: providing food, clothing, financial assistance, education, and employment coaching. They also organize individuals to act as advocates for policy change and systemic solutions. And they act as a resource in the social services sector, providing spaces for knowledge sharing and the advancement of common goals.

Who Can Join

All Northeastern community members are welcome to join us, including alumni from any year and any Northeastern campus. Please register using the form so we can give Sacred Heart an accurate head count for our group.
