About Our Panelists:
Ariana M. Davis is an Entrepreneur & Product Designer who has spent the last five years building and breathing life into digital products. Her passions lie at the intersection of creative development and emerging technologies, while her goal is to inspire users and engage them throughout her work.
On the daily she utilizes her unique set of skills as a Product Designer on the product team for a fintech company called Stocktwits. Davis is also the co-founder and product designer engineer for BeautySlot, a beauty tech platform that books last minute appointments with ease.
When her eyes aren’t glued to a computer screen you can find her advocating for diversity in the tech industry. Ariana takes pride in encouraging women of color in tech to continue striving for their dreams.
LeAnn Mendoza is an Align Master’s in Data Science graduate student at Northeastern University–Silicon Valley. She received her B.S. degree in Bioengineering: Bioinformatics from the University of California, San Diego. During her undergrad and into her postgrad career, she conducted research focused on investigating clinical applications of deep learning and computer vision to improve ophthalmic outcomes. LeAnn is also highly passionate about closing the gap between underrepresented groups in Tech in her work as a student ambassador, advocating for underrepresented groups within technology and promoting pathway to computer science and data science (Align) program, as well as a mentor, in supporting robotics organizations in her hometown of Chula Vista, CA at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
