About the Speaker- Dr. Kevin Broadbelt, Ph.D.
Dr. Kevin Broadbelt is an Associate Teaching Professor for MS in Biotechnology at Northeastern University. He received his BA from Lehman College of the City University of New York in Human Biology and went on to receive his Ph.D. at The Graduate Center of CUNY in Neuroscience, focused on neuroanatomy and molecular neurobiology. Dr. Broadbelt completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital focusing on pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders under the directions of Dr. Hannah Kinney. As a junior faculty Instructor at Harvard Medical School, under the supervision of Dr. Hanno Steen continued his training focusing on utilizing mass spectrometry-based proteomics combined with pathological tools, studying disease pathogenesis relating to cell signaling focused on adapter proteins involved in neuronal-related developmental pathways.
